100,000 balloons inside the London Covent Garden Market. It is unrealistically beautiful!

Not so long ago, Covent Garden Market, located inside a 19th-century London building, was miraculously transformed. The French artist Charles Petillon, with the help of twenty-five workers, filled the building of 100,000 white balloons for five days, calling the installation "Heartbeat". This project is part of the Covent Garden cultural program, whose goal is to turn the area into an ever-changing art gallery.

“With the help of balloons I create metaphors,” the artist says. “Their goal is to change the way we see the things we spend around every day without noticing them. With a heartbeat, I want to present the market building as the beating heart of this area connecting the past with the present so that visitors can rethink its role in the very center of London life.
